Hi, I'm Shannon
I am a Registered Physiotherapist on the west end of Ottawa, Ontario treating orthopedics, with a further specialization in pelvic health. I am lucky enough to say I knew early in my university studies at Queen's University that I wanted to pursue an occupation where I could be innovative and involved in the evolution of health care. Having a very active sports background throughout my life, I understand the physical and mental benefits of movement, which led me to pursue a career as a Physiotherapist. I gained valuable knowledge and practical experience into the exciting world of pelvic health throughout my Master’s of Physiotherapy program at Brunel University in London, United Kingdom. I truly appreciate witnessing my patients achieve their personalized goals and continue to participate in activities they enjoy.
When I am not treating clients, you will find me participating in my own physical activities, such as soccer, spinning, yoga, golf, pickleball, or somewhere in the gym! If I am not participating in something active, I will be snuggled up with my dog, Arthur, at home (you may or may not see a cute little white Westie when you visit my clinic!).
I look forward to welcoming you into this empowering space, and guiding you through your movement and journey, whether that be helping you through rehabilitative recovery, or preventing future symptoms. Let's enhance your quality of life, and keep your body moving the way it should.
